Post Occupancy Evaluation
Leanne has a wealth of experience delivering more than 20 POEs over the last decade, leading on the delivery of projects for various private and public sector clients, including:
• 15 no. University and College buildings in Scotland (on behalf of Scottish Funding Council)
• University of West of Scotland, Ayr Campus (on behalf of Innovate UK)
• Scottish Enterprise Office, Bellshill
• South Lanarkshire College, Low Carbon Teaching Building
• Forestry Commission Offices, Oban
Post Occupancy Evaluation (POE) provides a structured review of the process of delivering a project as well as a review of the operational, functional and strategic performance of the building during occupation. This is a credible and recognised way of providing feedback on the performance of the project throughout it’s lifecycle, from initial concept through to occupation. The information that is collected and analysed during the POE process is often invaluable and is used to enhance the in use performance.
Energy and Thermal Modelling
Leanne is experienced in the delivery of energy modelling and thermal performance assessment, having previously supported projects that have improved energy performance, environmental ratings and internal environmental conditions. Previous project experience includes supporting the delivery of:
• 250+ thermal junction details modelled commercially
• 50+ energy assessments, including Commercial Building Energy Rating (BER)
• Assessments and Display Energy Certificates (DECs) undertaken for a mixture of public and private clients across the UK and Ireland
• The development of Scottish Accredited Construction Details
